New York-based, Bat-Sheva Guez is a dynamic Director and Editor known for her ability to infuse dance and magic into visually captivating stories. She has directed over 20 short films and screened at festivals worldwide including the Hamptons International Film Festival, the Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Brooklyn Film Festival and more.

With a passion for crafting compelling narratives, Bat-Sheva has directed commercial content for esteemed clients including Lincoln Center, JP Morgan, Conde Nast, Martha Stewart Weddings, Pfizer, and other prominent brands. Notably, she helmed the pilot episode of Reading Rainbow Live, reintroducing the beloved TV show to a new generation of viewers.

Most recently, Bat-Sheva co-produced the award-winning documentary Being Bebe, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, won Best Documentary at the Sound Unseen Film Festival, screened at over 30 festivals, and has received global distribution from OutTV and Fuse. Guez is currently set to direct the feature film Lovella and her own feature film, And How She-, with an award-winning script she’s written.

Bat-Sheva has been recognized with industry awards including Cannes Shortlist, JT3 Artist Award for Screenwriting & Directing, Best Director at the Art of Brooklyn Film Fest, Best Short Film at the Moondance Film Festival, Best Cinematography and Best Musical at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and Best Experimental at the Brooklyn Film Fest, and more. Her extensive work has been covered by The New York Times, Forbes, LA Review of Books, Dance Magazine, among others.
